Nitriding Symposium 4 is designed for metallurgists, engineers, plant supervisors, and manufacturing managers who deal with nitriding/nitrocarburizing operations in their manufacturing environment, and who are concerned with optimizing the performance and efficiency of operations. Presentations will focus on delivering practical application advice and insights.

What’s the schedule for the symposium?
Thursday, November 17 – Registration runs from 7:00 am -8:00 am. Sessions take place from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, with a morning and afternoon break, and a lunch break during noon hour. A dinner reception will be held at 7:00 pm.
Friday November 18 – Sessions begin at 8:00 am until 2:00 pm, with a morning and midday coffee breaks.
Please note that this is a tentative schedule. A final schedule will be issued in September.
How much does it cost to attend?
Registration fee is $300 for attendees that register by Monday October 17, 2016, thereafter the fee is $375.
Speakers are entitled to a discounted registration fee of $200.

Will there be a discounted hotel room block available?
Yes, discounted rooms are available at the MGM Grand at the rate of $109 USD/night + $30 daily resort fee. The discounted rate covers the nights between November 16-18, 2016 and will be available until Monday October 31, 2016.
The daily resort fee includes access to WiFi, the fitness center, daily newspaper available for pickup, local and toll free calls, and limited business services such as notary and boarding pass printing.

What is the refund policy?
To cancel a registration and request a refund, please send a notification to symposium@nitriding.info. Refund requests received by Friday October 28, 2016 will receive a full refund, less a $75 service fee. There is no refund for no-shows and cancellations received after October 28, 2016.
Registrants are responsible for cancellation of their own hotel accommodations.
Substitutions are allowed by individuals within the same institution/company.
Will there be transportation to the conference hotel?
MGM Grand does not offer complimentary shuttle service; however, taxis and group shuttles are an economical way to get from the airport to the hotel.
Taxicabs are available at McCarran International Airport Terminal 1 on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1 – 4. At Terminal 3, taxis are conveniently located outside on Level Zero. The minimum fare is $17.
Group shuttles are available at Terminal 1 on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7 – 13. At Terminal 3, shuttles are located outside on Level Zero on the west end of the building to serve domestic travelers and on the east side of the building to accommodate international travelers.
