  December 14, 2007 - Call for Abstracts

The next NITRIDING SYMPOSIUM is scheduled for May 29-30, 2008 in Montreal, Canada.

It’s the only event devoted entirely to nitriding and nitrocarburizing - processes, equipment, technologies, automation and controls, and other related topics. Technical advancements, product and application developments that improve productivity and reduce costs in the manufacturing and subcontracting industries will be highlighted.

Please consider presenting at next year's conference if you have original work or compelling research related to the following topic areas:

  • Advances in nitriding technologies
  • Applications & case studies
  • Wear resistance
  • Fatigue resistance
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Control of distortion
  • Equipment developments
  • Process controls
  • Atmosphere sensors
  • Plant integration and automation
  • Simulation software
  • All applications must be submitted online at www.nitriding.info/Registration/Registration_Speaker.asp no later than March 19, 2008. Please note that submissions received after that date will be considered on a back-up basis only.

    Speakers will not be compensated for presenting, but will receive complimentary admission to the conference. Accepted speakers will be also required to provide an electronic copy of their presentation by a specific date.
