Nomination Deadline: CLOSED

Nominations are now being accepted for the Hephaestus Award. The award recognizes contributions made by either academic or industrial researchers to the field of heat treating that have had an impact on surface engineering, materials science, and industrial processes or production techniques.

This is the second time the award will be presented. In 2005, Professor Jan Tacikowski of the Institute of Precision Mechanics, Poland was honored for his groundbreaking work in controlled nitriding.

Let us know which colleague has the qualifications to deserve this recognition. Nominations can be submitted by completing the online form below or by downloading the Word file (click here) and returning it by email to info@nitriding.info.
